Up to 12 executives may find inspiration and strategize in the ultimate comfort of our 15th floor Penthouse level conference room featuring a boardroom table with 12 padded chairs, over-sized windows, polycom conference telephone, full-size presentation screen, television with VCR & DVD capabilities, writing pads, pens, flip charts, and data-ports with complementary wireless & high-speed Internet access. Provided the 14th Floor is not booked for another event, the meeting attendees may choose to eat meals by the fireplace in the Writer's Den, under the glass canopy of the Poetry Garden, or outside on the terrace, weather permitting, of course.

The Writer's Den reaffirms the Library’s private club ambiance by featuring a mahogany-paneled sitting room with overstuffed chairs, couches, 42” flat paneled television with DVD & laptop capabilities and a gas burning fireplace creating an atmosphere of the quiet coziness of one's own living room. The space also offers a glass-enclosed garden terrace that can be used year long with additional tables and seating making it an ideal location for casual daytime meetings, showrooms, cocktail receptions or social events.

The Poetry Garden provides a charming garden greenhouse sitting room outfitted in wicker furnishings with a beautiful wraparound outdoor terrace that draws spectacular Manhattan views of the Public Library and surrounding New York architecture. To get those creative verses flowing, The Poetry Garden lends itself for small intimate meetings, showrooms, cocktail receptions or social events.

In the evening, the 14th Floor, featuring the Poetry Garden, Writer's Den, and magnificent granite bar, transforms into Bookmarks Lounge. Bookmarks serves such signature cocktails as the Great Gatsby and the Capote. It also offers a full premium bar and an attractive wine, beer and champagne selection. The lounge is open to the public from 4pm-12am, Monday through Saturday, but can also be booked for private evening corporate & social receptions as well as wine tastings. When Bookmarks is not in operation, Library Hotel guests may enjoy bottled spring water, fresh fruit or a place for quiet respite and relaxation.
